High Altitude Featured on WeddingWire: the Tom and Marc Wedding

We're so excited to have the striking, touching, beautiful wedding of Tom and Marc featured as a "Real Wedding" on GayWeddings.com. This wedding, at Denver's incomparably beautiful D&F Tower (Clock Tower Events), was the most intimate wedding we've photographed, with a mere 11 guests. It was also the most personalized, individual wedding we've seen.

We have no doubt that it cost this very private couple some pangs to have their story published for the world to see. But it is the very fact that their wedding was so intimately private and personal that made it unique. That, and the incredible 14-year journey that led up to the wedding of these two remarkable people makes this a story that is worth reading.

The story of the day that this couple shared with their close and loving family is the genuine article--a real-life love story with a happy "ending" (though it's admittedly silly to think of weddings as an ending). If anyone deserves a happily ever after, it's these two.

Tom, Marc, and their amazingly funny, joyful family struck me as people who are living evidence of my unshakeable private belief that, when you get down to real fundamentals, people are just basically good. The joy and love in those beautiful rooms that day was real, and their story will add something of value to anyone who takes the time to read it.

See the wedding feature here.

Love,

Heather and Gunnar
